Located in the village of La Roche-Vineuse in South Burgundy, we are winegrowers, passionated about our profession and the terroirs of the Mâconnais and the Beaujolais that we’re cultivating. With the greatest respect for the plant and its environment, the perennial management of the vineyard as well as the artisanal work are the priorities. Both white and red, they are born from these terroirs of Southern Burgundy which reveal marvellously the Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Gamay grape varieties.

Olivier Merlin’s first contact with the vines was in 1977. That year, he harvests in a Mâconnais estate and discovers an atmosphere, a family spirit. His passion for the winegrower’s profession began then. 2012: Purchase of 2,5 ha of Pouilly-Fuissé, a Monopole called Clos des Quarts; in Chaintré in partnership with Dominique Lafon.

Paul & Théo Merlin have been awarded a plot of Pouilly-Fuissé "Sur la Roche" in Vergisson. With an area of 24 ares, exposed to the east, it belongs to the commune of Vergisson. 18 ares are planted with old vines and the rest (still lying fallow) is going to be planted in 2021.
