Château Lafon-Rochet 4. Cru årgang 2014 fra Saint Estèphe i Bordeaux.

Tasting the wine, the first impressions on the nose are of blackberry and mellow wood nose, followed by a crisp attack with spicy notes in the mouth highlighting floral and red fruit aromas. This is what one might call a fairly classic vintage, with wines built on a natural strength and roundness, but not too sweet thanks to a well-balanced level of alcohol. The mid-palate is soft and tight and the finish gives an overall snapshot of the vintage: serene and delicate. We constantly strive to protect our environment and terroir through numerous initiatives. As Basile always likes to say: "Let’s remember that there is no bigger Lafon-Rochet consumer in the world than my father and myself".
